Miles Maeda was one of the pioneering members of Chicago's club and rave scene back in the early 1990's. Originally hailing from Hawaii, Miles' influence in the Midwest was unique and made longlasting impressions. His classical background and training inspired him to experiment with many different styles and genres which shone forth in his prolific studio productions and live performances, enriching Chicago Style for many years. He was the co-founder for "Material" at Shelter, and has held a 9 year residency at Chicago's Smartbar.
