Open Bar brings you the finest in deep, tech, electro and minimal house. with DJs Greg Stainer (Dubai), Oscar P, Davidson Ospina, Terron Darby, Phil Turnipseed, greatwhitefunk Ospina & Oscar P Davidson Ospina and Oscar P return for a tag-team set right off the buzz of the new "Conquistadores Chocolates" single. So far strong supporters include Timmy Vegas, Gianluca Motta, Quentin Harris, Tedd Patterson, Laurent Garnier, Jerome Derradji, Hector Romero, Robert Owens, Graeme Park, Flash Brothers, DJ Anna Kiss, Stereo Mutants, Jevne Miller, Richie Hartness, Graham Sahara and many others. The dynamic duo have currently been in the studio remixing tracks for Skilled Records, Gaga Records (Germany), Seamless UK, Kult Records, as well as finishing up new studio projects with vocalists Dragonfly, & Mascari before October fall tour dates. Phil Turnipseed (DJ Times Magazine) Best known for his writing and production on the hit track "Love Commandments", Phil T, as he is best known to friends is a respected journalist, having covered the dance and electronic music scene for the past 20 years. This week we get a little taste of Phil on the decks. Greg Stainer (Dubai) Just off his UK tour dates at Ministry Of Sound with Stonebridge, Judge Jules, & Sister Bliss, Greg’s sound draws elements from all genres of house music, making him suitable to ROCK any dance floor! Greg has laid down a discography of over 40 productions & remixes remixes plus a full-length solo Album. Support for Greg’s music comes from some of the most influential names in the business including Roger Sanchez, Ali Dubfire (Deep Dish), Alex Gaudino, DJ Dove and Peter Gelderblom. greatwhitefunk Pittsburgh native, Bill Cunningham has done promotion work for OM Records and Open Bar Music. As a youngster he could often be found dancing to varied influences like Earth, Wind, and Fire, Boz Scaggs, Fleetwood Mac, Duran Duran and George Gershwin. “My father would put the big headphones on me when I was 3, and when we went to New Jersey to visit family my uncle introduced me to the Police,” says Bill. “I DJ for fun more than anything. I have to find a way to get my creative fix and share all of these tracks I buy with others and see how they react.” As greatwhitefunk, Bill has kept it funky in Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, and currently has a bi-monthly Aiken, SC residency Now Dance Baby with one of his DJ mentors Kenny Ray. Bill is honored to bring some deep house to start the evening for his NYC debut at The Show with his great friends at Open Bar.
